Wonha Park: Hello everyone! Guess what?! We are collaborating with ASL Love for the first time to host a Hallloween party! What is the theme? It’s called Spooky Night! We are excited!!! We will explain to you in more detail soon. Are you CURIOUS?!

What time? Doors open at 6 pm, and the program will start at 7:15 pm.
Where is it? It’s at Line 51 Brewing at 303 Castro Street, Oakland.
Wait! What about kids? Don’t worry! The event is family-friendly so you can bring your kids!

Jeongin Weber: How much are the tickets for admission?
Adults: $20
Family with children under 18 years old (3-4 people ): $35
Student/Senior(65+): $15
Under 18 years old: $10
Under 6 years old: Free
Line 51 Brewing will have beer for sale at 15% off. Support their local business! No outside drinks.
Tickets do not include refreshments/food/drinks
We accept payments with: credit card, Venmo/Cashapp, and cash

Michah Villanueva: Yes, tickets don’t include food/drink. Why? There will be desserts/appetizers on sale for fundraising. Food will be sold for $2 - $4.
We have a special team of Deaf Dancers from Korea, Mongolia, and Germany coming for the 30th Anniversary Gala. For this reason, we need your support for the fundraiser. Please support BAADA!

Shea Rasmus: How to get to the event, the Line 51 Brewing venue?
There’s a few transportation options.
You could walk, bike, ride the bus, or take the BART.
If you’re taking the BART, best to get off at the 12th st. Oakland station. From there, it is a 17-18 min walk to Line 51 Brewing. Definitely a good way to warm-up before the event.
Or you could ride the bus from the 12th st. Oakland station and take either the bus # 12 or bus # 72. You’ll be going on Broadway st. and you should get off at 3rd st. It will be a 7-8 min walk to Line 51 Brewing.
If you’re driving and getting there by car; plenty of free street parking is available around the area!

We will have a Halloween costume contest!
Adults will have a separate category from the kids’ costume contest.
We have prizes! What are they?
For adults,
3rd place prize is a BAADA tumbler
2nd place prize is a Deaf Inclusion shirt
1ST PLACE PRIZE is $100 (Visa gift card) for adults

We will accept if a family wants to participate with their children.
Please choose your Halloween costume with care. Pick a costume that will not cause a mess, such as loose feathers or fake blood dripping. Also, be sure not to appropriate other people’s culture, such as copying Native American headdresses if you are not from that community. Anyone wearing a costume that makes fun of a cultural group will be asked to leave.

Brian Berlinski: Hey, Is it only the Halloween costume contest? Don't worry! We have more activities!
We will play a Halloween movie, and we will have ASL storytelling about Halloween!
Also, we have activities related to pumpkin decorating - a team pumpkin carving game, pumpkin painting for those who prefer not to carve. We will also provide face painting for children.
If you are interested in participating in the team pumpkin carving, you can indicate on the form when registering.
